I have created this page to summarize the SkateCanada (formerly Canadian Figure Skating Association [CFSA]) Ice Dances and to list all those Other Ice Dances that I have found (on and off the Web). With the exception of the more exotic dances (ie: sources unknown), most of the Dances Listed come from the following sources:

In this list I have attempted to include the basic information for each dance. This information is condensed from the CFSA Rulebook and enhanced via "rinkspeak". The beat of the music, time for one pattern, pattern type and, of course, the Alias with which we so fondly describe each dance.

Michael "Doc" Jones is a 30-something father of two, happily married for over ten years. An avid ice dancer for many years and, despite the best of intentions, still working on his Senior Silver Dances.  However, he is a National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Level 1 certified instructor and enjoys teaching CanSkate and Ice Dancing.

Captain Michael "Doc" Jones retired from the Canadian Air Force after fourteen years and has now worked four years with Ericsson Research Canada as the Operations Assurance Quality Manager.  Michael's last military empoyment was with 4 Software Engineering Squadron Detachment Mirabel as a Systems Engineer for the CF-188 Hornet fighter aircraft.
